There is a press release from Canon USA today announcing a new camera that comes with an interchangeable 47-954mm f1.6-3.5 IS lens with multiple fluorite elements. It has an EVF (electronic viewfinder), 2.1 megapixels, and records on an SD card at 5 FPS. Cost is $8999.00 USD. Here's the press release:

47-954mm f1.6-3.5 IS eh. =) If they made something like that for 35mm I'd be estatic =) Well, something that doesn't need a train to haul.
