I spend 12 hours trying to get to the bottom of this so I thgought I would share:
If you can't transfer video from your Canon s200 Digital Camera to your computer (win2k in my case), and/or you get a "I/O error" when using the bundled VideoImpressions arcsoft software, you probably don't have ZoomBrowser installed (this comes on the canon solutions CD that is *supposed* to always ship with the product). I never got that CD and therefore spent hours trying to figure out why I couldn' t accomplish this seemingly simple feat.
