Alright, I had a dream last night. In the dream, well during the only part I can remember. A friend of mine who has no interest in photography was showing me his 20D and new lens. It was the 28-300 L and the hood was made of crystal. Yes, completely transparent, looks like a regular tele lens hood ( EF 135 L hood for example). It looked so nice hahaha

But it would be utterly useless, no? :)

Not in a dream. It would work perfectly there.

not completely useless. I would not mind having a section of my home devoted to antqiues related to photography and on a really special old lens, rare too, a niec glass hood.

right belmondo ? :D

You know, some people can =) It's called... crap I forgot what it's called. But it's really cool, and apparently almost everyone can do it, it just takes lotsa practise.

Lucid Dream I think?

Yea, lucid dreams. I could do it when i was younger(like 10 years old). I almost always knew i was in a dream, and could just screw around all i wanted. The tough part was if you thought about it too much you would wake up. It still happens to me occasionally.
Good part was when i was having a bad dream I would wake myself up by shaking my head really hard, but I remember one time that didn't work, and I actually dreamt I woke up and then whatever reason I tried to wake myself up was there with me and it scared the crap out of me.

Ya I agree with you both. Lucid Dreams are so much fun, but so fragile too. The second you become "too aware" of you dream, meaning you are aware that you are controlling or guiding it, you wake up!

I still haven't been able to do it, but I've done it once accidentally!

It sounds wicked, I would love to try. However, I hear if you're *too* good at it, you'll never want to leave. You'll become god of your own world, but never awake.

Kinda creepy..

Kevin, thats the drawback, God of your own world. lol everybody is God (or should) of thier own world. Being God in reality, now thats fun.
