Volleyball shot With Canon 300 D

Here is a shot from a volleyball game I took , maybe this settings will help. This one was shot at 1/160 , ISO 400 with an apeture of 3.0 ...sitting about three rows up from the floor. Good luck !

Looks good!
If you go to ISO 800 or even 1600 you could a) use a faster shutter to help with the motion blur, and/or b) stop down the aperture a bit for better depth of field. If you go the high ISO route with a 300D, some noise reduction software will probably be required.

Thanks for the Compliment and the suggestions..Actionphotog wasnt as generous....This was my first try at a volleyball game so I was shocked anything came out !....Thanks again I shall keep pluggin' along !
