Ssim's is so true, and Curtis's makes me laugh every time I read it.

I can't think of any right good sigs right now, but I'm sure that I'll spot some and come back to this.

I haven't seen it here and I haven't used it but a favorite of mine is

"He who dies with the most toys wins"

I almost have all the toys I want.

Or this from one of my sons.

"Laughing will lengthen your life, laughing at me will shorten it"

Thanks for posting this thread Airdale1. There are a lot of personalised tag lines on this forum that help put a smile on my face, and I'm sure they do for others as well. :D

I always found amusing the line Laziferous used. Just went back (way back) and checked it:
" blah something clever blah blahdie blah....."

But I think it was because it matched him perfectly ;)

I can't remember who had it here - I think it's quite popular anyway - but I always loved "Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints." Words to live by, in my opinion.

Obviously I have to steal it...

Well that puts you in good company then. My grandfather used to always say to me in Italian that, "amateurs imitate, artists steal." ;)

Easy for her to say, she has an SLR with a 70-200mm lens."

I find that Radrech1 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=10194)'s are real words to live by.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in side-ways, totally worn out, shouting: "Holy Sh*t!...What a ride!"

Someone mentioned that mine seemed a little juvenile. (Post is now gone - self deleted perhaps?)

I would like to offer to that person a look at my pervious sig. Same sentiment, but perhaps less coarse. Spoken my Rear Admiral Grace Hopper at a cadet commencement address:

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are for."

A blast from the past. My sig line is also posted on the refrigerator door. Not only did it score points with the wife, it also allows me to photograph all the good looking woman I want without fear of repercussion.

A model needs careful lighting, professional makeup and expensive clothes to look as beautiful as any ordinary woman does to a man who has fallen in love with her.

I saw a great one the other day in another forum. It's called "Footprints"

As I looked back along the path of my life, I saw that during the most difficult, treacherous parts of the journey there was but one set of footprints, so I asked “Why?” He looked at me and said, “Because, sand people always travel single file, to hide their numbers.”

Words to live by.
