Certainly has a certain look to it.
If there is an opening for a guard cat any where this would make a great application.
If that was the look you were going for I think you acheived it.
IMHO the eyes are too washed out from the flash, and using a bounce would have give better details.

Slobelix -- apologies in advance if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like you used photoshop to select out the cat from the background. The result is a sharp line around the cat with no individual fuzzy hairs sticking out, which looks unnatural to me. See if you can get the cat to pose for you while sitting on a piece of white poster board, and as suggested above, use ceiling bounced-flash.

If your pet were a dog, it would be easier to get it to pose for you. Further proving the natural superiority of dogs over cats (and you thought prejudice was confined to canon-ni*on fans).

I like cats in general, I don't think the pic conveys "a cat personality" but if that is the mood you wanted ok.

The model is not mine,sorry to say, and if i would to make her still for a few seconds it would reqiure some peace of meat or fish.You right about photoshop, thanks for your help.Next picture will be better.
