Greetings, I am just configuring EE 1.22. My Kudos to Pekka. My gallery will feature family artwork which includes photography by myself and my brother and fine art by our mother.

I have configured everything and just started to upload the imagery.

the link is

http://www.unkeless.com/gallery

My question is regarding the headings under the Gallery Title.

Under my Gallery it says,"Photos from the United States."

Under my Bro's it says, "Photos from Afganistan."

Under Fine Art it says, "Photos from."

I have searched and cant find any area to change this legend?

Please advise.

Hi,

The countries are taken from each photo (set them in photo editor). Country "n/a" (and location "unknown") is not displayed. In 1.22 there that display code was not fully done.

I recommend you upgrade 1.22 to 1.3RC - there is a new index page system which has lots of bugs and features fixed.

Hello Pekka,

Thanks for the reply.

I will upgrade and make sure to support the software.

My gallery just stopped displaying the photos in the gallery. I didn't change any settings.

Do I need to unlock something?

What could have changed?

Regards

Charlie

Odd. There seems to be some problem with database id's - something I've rarely seen. I can fix this for you if you'd send me ftp address (and username and pass) to you site, mail them me at pekka@photography-on-the.net - I'll see what's bugging it and set up 1.3 for you.

If you don't want to let me in there download and install EE Backup from http://photography-on-the.net/ee/backup/EE_Backup_1_02.zip and mail me a database backup dump for fixing.

EE Backup installation is easy, just copy it under gallery/backup and set the same database info you have on "gallery/connect.php" to EE Backups' "gallery/backup/ee_backup_prefs/preferences.php".

Third option is to install 1.3RC and use its repair tool to fix database corruption.
