Shot with Sigma 70-200 EX f2.8 @ 200mm f4.0
Love this lens. Although it doesn't have the reach, it beats my 100-400L for colour, sharpness and bokeh.
Taken on the shore of Loch Ness.

Nice shot Gary and handsome young man. I've been toying with the idea of getting this same lens myself.

I really like that shot. The lighting is great and the composition is superb.

that is a beautiful picture of your son
love it
blurry stones (part of at least) and green 'thing' in front I would crop off
I don't think they work too well with this type of shot

That is a really nice photo. Your son sure is handsome and very photogenic.
I agree with Marie though, I would crop the foreground too.

Great shot, I love the light in it. Your son is holding a natural expression which is a bonus too.
I personally like the foreground out of focus but I guess it is a matter of taste.

Really nice, and as others said, great subject and DOF effect.

Gorgeous shot! I do have to agree with what Marie has suggested with the crop.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I still can't get over how old he looks in this shot. He looks about fourteen, but he's only nine. I think it's the highlighted jawline that does it.
Gary.

Excellent shot :). I've been looking around, and think that'll be the next lens I buy (which means it'll be quite some time from now  )
