The hot springs is at Thermopolis and the other is at Devils Canyon ovrlook north of Lovell

I really like the first one, its very neat with the "mist" coming off the water.

Love the first one. Don't care so much for the second one, but toning a photo rarely does anything for me.

I like the sepia on #2...do you have one where more of the dead tree is showing though?!?!

How did you do the sepia color in #2 if you don't mind?

Love #1, the colours in the ground are lovely and the mist/steam rising is great.

Afraid #2 doesn't do much for me. Sorry. I'd like to see the colour version if poss though?

Thanks for the comments. For the Sepia look I used PS. From the menu bar…First remove the color. Then Enhance, adjust color, Hue/Saturation. Then check the Colorize box. Take the saturation down and play with hue the levels to your satisfaction. Here is another one with more of the tree.

Thanks for posting the colour image in the desert. *Personally* I prefer it. But then, that's part of what's so great about photography, everyone has their own taste and preferences.

I'm with you there...It would look rather silly if we all had the same picture hanging in our parlor !!:D :D ( and a bit boring too!)
