Hey guys,

Question... is there anything similar to lensbaby for the SX100 and SX110? I am trying to get a more wide angle on these cameras and can't seem to find anything that works.

Any suggestions?

No, not really. Some of the other cameras have a provision for installing a tube that goes around the lens and lets you install a filter holder. The SX100 series does not.

At any rate, I think you would find a decent quality wide converter to be about as expensive as just buying a wider angle camera. For example, a Panasonic ZS5 does 25mm wide angle and runs about $175. A quaity wide angle adapter is 100-150 and you still need the adapter tube.

Well that's a bummer. Thank you for all the information though.

Any suggestions for a P&S camera that takes AA sized batteries, does good on the wide angle and costs under $100 used?

It is for a project and I am not sure if the camera will survive so we don't want to go to expensive. Might have to start a new thread for that question though.

EDIT: forgot to mention it has to be a canon as we will have to install CHDK on it.
