Films - I saw "Where the Red Fern Grows" many years ago - I was still in my teens. I was in floods! I will not be watching it again any time soon, even though it was a good film.

Permie, I SO know what you mean about that creative spark. I so feel like, as I describe it, a journeyman - but I prefer your description as a mechanic - looking at the technical side of the image rather than feeling the shot with that creative spark. Having seen your images, I would dispute your comments hough - I see that creative spark in your shots.

Thought I was going to be rescued tonight by my hubby. Unfortunately it's been postponed until next weekend.:( RV reached Cheyenne all in one piece but has yet to be set up properly. Which is why hubby decided to wait another week to rescue me.

Rain held off long enough today for me to get pics of my kids with their hunnys. Gads what an ordeal! I did okay I think on the lighting. But to get all the people looking decent was another thing. I think I may have gotten a couple shots in all that are decent frameable ones. The others are all cute snapshot type. In a couple weeks I'll put some up here that you can all look at.

Yeah, I think I have a few useable shots. Will be able to tell better when I have access to my good monitor. I took all my lenses with me but ended up only using the 50 1.4. Not sure that was the best choice. But it's what I slapped on the cam.:lol: The kids all wanted the picture taking thing to be quick.:rolleyes: They all look like rednecks I swear. Didn't dress up at all. In fact my son had his dirty work coat and cap on. Boys.:rolleyes: Then my daughter had on a Dairy Queen sweatshirt and her boyfriend a JohnDeer sweatshirt. The only one that looked sort of dressed for pics was sons girlfriend.:lol:

People pics are really not my thing. I don't know if it's because the only ones I've attempted are family and they don't take me seriously when I try to pose them... or just the fact that I suck when it comes to people shots.:lol:

I've had seven dogs in my life and with only one exception, they were all adopted as adults. And, that exception was in the 1970s. So, I have no baby/puppy shots of my dogs. The closest I can get is this, one of the first shots I have of Ashley. It's weird, though... I look at this and have to wonder who in the world this mutt was! The first few shots I have of her from right after I adopted her don't look anything at all like her... Her appearance really changed quickly.
