Here is a shot I took. I am trying my hand at some different types of photography. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

I like the photo, however it seems a bit too dark. I take it that you didn't hook up your 580ex, it would have made a big difference with those settings.

I'm with Dennis, I like the soft background, but using a flash would have made the subject more prominent. Enjoy macros!!

Thanks I will try that next time. It did, for some reason, darken up when I formatted it for the web.

It has the potential to be a great shot. Try lightening it up a bit, The composition is great as well as the subject. :D

It's pretty nice, but I think it's a little dark on my screen. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming!

I am not sure it is coming across correctly. The original is lots lighter. Whe I save it for the web in PS it makes it darker and also shifts some of the colors. I will have to work on that one also.

Are you working in sRGB? Working in AdobeRGB usually causes color shifts when saving for the Web.
