Took these not too far from home at the back of a local farm. The sun was setting so I couldn't get any good shots but it was fun anyway...

Jon, You got some very interesting shots of a crazy sport. ;) I got a chuckle from that Jeep in the third shot with the huge Mud Bib on front.

It was a fun evening... They meet on the first Saturday of each month too. So next month I'll try to get there early and take some shots in good light. From what they told me, there's a lot more mudding going on earlier too. Not as many broken trucks and everyone is out driving and by the time the sun is setting most people have had too much beer to take their trucks back out.

Thanks Frank. The jeep in the first shot was already stuck when I took the picture. He was so buried they had to use a D8 bulldozer to pull him out. But everyone got to see a good show from him. He just sat there for a good minute slinging mud everywhere. The white color in the picture is the steam from his exhaust in the mud, muck and water. I hope to get better shots next time too. There were some huge, I mean huge trucks out there but they already stopped driving around for the day when we got there...

You'll have to go some to top that shot! (So, where are the shots from our weekend?) ;)

I'm looking through them right now. I took too many that day at the race track. I mean way too many. I'll post a few tonight in a new thread. Right now I have to head down to 12 mile and Woodward.

Here's one more... The white Jeep was going to pull the red Jeep out... In the end, the bulldozer was needed to get them both out.
