Printing 8x12
Any thoughts on printing at 8x12? I don't want to crop to 8x10 and if I use 6.667x 10 my mats won't fit. I am having trouble finding glossy ink jet photo paper that I can print 8x12 on.

Re: Printing 8x12
How about 11x7.33 or (if your printer will do it) 11.5x7.67 on A4 paper? Both of those are 3:2 ratio.
Failing that, why not cut the mats yourself? That's what I do, mostly to a "standard" size but some images get different proportions depending on what I want. KRs Chris |
Re: Printing 8x12
Thanks. I could use 11.7 or 11.5 and cut my own mats. I suppose I could also use larger photopaper and cut it to 8x12.

I think I bought it from B&H and Kodak lists this url on the package: www.kodak.com/go/inkjet Hope that helps. |

You're welcome. Took awhile to track this stuff down. Good paper though.

I bought 25 sheets for $25 and change. That is not too much more than the Canon paper cost locally. I'm sure I will be able to get it on the internet cheaper. What was nice is that it came with instructions for what paper setting to use with different printers. For my 8200 it was High Gloss Photo Film. Thanks again for your help. I'm happy - I can print in the 8x12 format so I don't have to crop. Frank B |
