This is Molly, a 7mth sweetie we found stuck in a tree

This is Buffy, a 2 year old female who was orphaned at 4 weeks

This is Willow, a 4 year old dilute tortoiseshell (also blue cream). She used to be the boss bitch of the house but then Buffy came along and put her in her place

I'd title this one 'Bliss'; it looks so content and cozy to me. The cat is my cousins' and the picture was taken just after last Christmas during a visit to Brossard, Québec.

I've got to get in on this one too. Here's Mr. Murphy taken last Sunday while I'm trying to shoot bird pics with the window wide open! I thought he was going out--mind you, he is declawed and never leaves the house.

Posting these 2 pix of Alpha Orionis. She was about 6 months old when these were taken and she still does this (2yrs). I have never seen a cat sleep this way. She either thinks she's a platypus or a plesiosaur.

Hello all,

I got my Dig Rebel 300D about 3 weeks ago, and this was the first pic I took...right out of the package. I really had nothing to shoot at that second, and the cat thought I was an idiot, as I was so excited to have my new (used) camera...

Doesn't "Rodeo" look thrilled for me???

Hi,
This is Tigger in his favorite spot (on top of the radiator). He's a 22lb Main Coon and plays like a little kitten. I can't count how many vases, glasses, ect that he has broken over the years. When he wants attention he will jump in your lap and head-butt you until you pet him.

Hi,
Here is our other cat Gary. She has a bit of an attitude problem and will either purr and rub up on you or try to rip your heart out. Never a dull moment.

That is one dirty look on Gary. Have a shot of our Meez with the same look - just before she bit my daughter! (Daughter was teasing her and deserved the bite - daughter is over 21)

Thanks for the compliments on Gary.
Here are some interesting facts on her:
1) She is named after Spongebob Squarepants' pet snail.
2) She was born wild and came to our house in the woods when she was about 4-5 months old.
3) I had to 'capture' her with a safe animal trap because she was too afraid to come to us.
4) The vet had to sedate her to do her first checkup.
5) She hid behind the toilet for about 6 months and eventually came out to live with the rest of us.
6) In my wife's eyes she is perfect and can do no wrong, even peeing inside of a recliner.
7) The Rebel XT is my first nice camera and any of our other point and shoots could not get a good picture of her. It was as if her beauty was too much for a cheap camera!

Thanks again for the compliments.
Here is another shot of her and her mommy.

I've got a feral calico. She was about 2 hours from death when Ferret Rescue found her- got her healthy and we adopted her. She was extremely tiny, now she's just big and fluffy. She seems to be the one that enjoys posing for some reason. My vet made the comment about calicos and bad temper. I'd always associated bad temper with Siamese and Siamese Mix.

Here's a shot of Saffy - I can't get Irfanview do do anything with it and I think I needed the contrast for the PDA.

Different effect.

Got a quick question (well, two) for all of the cat owners on the forum. Does any of your cats have experienced teary and watery eyes (just one eye)? Took Stewie to vet and vet knows nothing and ointment made it worse. Any experiences? Also, anyone knows a good cat forum? I can't seem to find a good one...Thank you for your help.

Sorry about the questions being irrelevant to photography...

Is you cat go outside at all? My cat got in a scrap once and a piece of nail got stuck in his eye area and it got teary and infected. We didn't know why untill the nail started making its way out!

Off and on for Saffy, However, we had a ferret that had constantly running eyes and it was an allergy.

Try www.alamofeline.com and look for Dr. Norsworthy, the best cat vet I have ever known, 20-30yrs.... It sounds like allergies, good luck..

I take my dog Ashley to Gateway Animal Hospital on Los Feliz Blvd. in Glendale. It's more than just a vet. They have specialists that work there. Excellent quality work, and caring doctors.

A GREAT site is www.thecatsite.com/forums/. A poster there, Hissy, knows everything there is to know about cats. Well, close to it, anyways. I've seen her stumped on a question only once or twice and I've been posting there for a couple of years, lol
