ERROR 1311 from D10
 

Hi All;
Just got a D10 & attempted to load the software & got an error message 1311 "source file not found"...anybody have the same problem..any fixes??? Thanks....

Well, it's actually a 10D ;) And what software? You mean the firmware update?

Hi...its actually the solution disc that comes with the camera & the drivers are on it.....it will not load...keep getting the 1311 error message...

Strange error,..

It could be a bad CD,...

Do this,. try making a copy of the CD on your hard drive. Vreate a Floder,.. call it "Canon Tools" or something,..

...then copy the entire contents of the CD to the Hard drive. You will need to change your settings to allow hidden and system fils to be copied.

This can help in two ways.

1. If you get a copying errror you will know your CD is bad.

2. If it does copy all the way to the Hard drive,. then you can run the Setup.exe from the folder on your hard drive. If a Cd-rom access problem was the issue during install,. this should solve it.

Copied it to my hardrive & ran all setups & they all worked except the "Twain Driver" setup....will call tech help I guess on this...Thanks
