Well, it is my first and only pano so far, so I'll rate it as my best too.

What you can't see is all the rain and the wind just out of shot to the left, had to go home.

My first post in this Forum. Here's a couple of my favorites. The first one is Tenaya Lake in Yosemite - 5 shots using Live Gallery to stitch. Canon 450D, 18mm f/22 1/20 ISO 400

The second is a 6 shot pano at Lake Aloha in the Desolation Wilderness. This was taken with an Olympus point and shoot 5 years ago and I don't have the exif data

C&C appreciated.

Re: Post your best panorama

Your horizon is pronouncedly crooked in the first, like it leans to the right of frame
the second one has the same lean but not as pronounced.
Otherwise they are beautiful shots.

Re: Post your best panorama

Nikolas, thanks for the comments. I did not notice the horizon.

Taken with a point'n'shoot in Flagstaff, AZ. Its blown out on the left sky but that's the only way I could get the trees with that camera.

Salmon Glacier, British Columbia (near Hyder, Alaska)
with six images taken with an A70

And completely different, Kluane Lake in Yukon
from seven images from a S5IS

Both put together with Canon's PhotoStitch.

Re: Post your best panorama

First attempt at stitching. Question though, sharpness really suffers with so much detail out to infinity, any way around this? The lens just can't capture the detail it seems.

I can't pick just one, so here goes my top 3. Take special note of the last one, its a lil different.

Nice. I also have a shot of this Ship Rock. Too bad that it is quite impossible to get a clean shot, free of people, poles, and more importantly the rock "on" the ship. :)
