Panthera pardus orientalis (leopard)
I was just looking through my old paper photos and found one which I think is pretty good so I scanned it.
It is from 1998 and was shot with a EOS 300 or 500 fil body. I don't remember which lens but probably either a tokina 100-300 mm or tokina 100-400 mm. And the cage has very small masks in the fence. So far I have not been able to get a really good shot of the leopard lately. ![]() |
I like it very much!
It has a special 'flair' to it. Best regards, Andy |
i like it but there is something i dont like about it but i just cant place what!

Re: Panthera pardus orientalis (leopard)
Prompted by the question about flatbed scanners for scanning negatives and slides I scanned this photo again, this time from the negative. I gave it the exact same post process as the first which was scanned from the paper photo. I scanned both in 600 DPI, resized for web, added frame and signature.
The scan of the negative looks dull to me, its missing a lot of the color the paperscan has. Maybe I am doing something wrong? ![]() |
