100th Birthday

1 Attachment(s)
I was fortunate to be the photographer for this gentelman's 100th birthday party this past weekend. He is quite amazing as he is an oil producer and still goes to work daily. During the party he gave a speech and told stories of his life experiences. Did I mention he also was able to walk in to the reception hall on his own with no help. Just witnessing the event was quite an honor!

The way im goin im gonna make it to 60 if im lucky.. Mcdonalds 3 times a week is pretty bad eh.

For 100 he is looking great, and he goes to work daily and can walk by himself still.. That is truley amazing. Heshould be enjoying himself instead of workin.

If that is his original hair, I will be really impressed!

WOW. When he was at school, vehicle maintenance was probably all about saddles and 'shoes and he dreamt of a tin lizzie. His father could have been born in 1880 and his grandfather could have fought in the civil war... what is it like to be "the last man out" of your whole generation?

He said that when he was a young man he purchased his first car, a Ford, for a grand total of $311.26.

With great grandkids in their 40's, he can have whatever is next (I have no idea how to name them, maybe "great great grandkids" ?) in their 20's. Jesus, that makes 5 generations all together. !!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to this guy and at least another 100 of these days !
