Re: OSX only reads first 32GB of card
I have always liked the SanDisk USB readers:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B005FDJC6K
That one is USB 3.0, supports SDHX, and is overall speedy.

Re: Monopod substitute for IS?
There is no doubt it helps, that is the whole point of a monopod. It's not going to give you tripod stability obviously, but neither is IS.

Re: 7d....which neck strap do you use??
Domke Gripper with the quick disconnects. I hate straps normally so it allows me to take it on and off very quickly.
It is fairly thin though with not much padding.

Re: HELP ! Eye fi and Canon 7D
It is a cool concept, and I love the idea for local sharing. I have always had a hard time understanding the direct to sharing sites upload though for a few reasons.

Re: Which GND do I need?
Useful (and good) grad filters are square. That way you can adjust where the transition falls in your picture.
I have a Cokin medium soft grad that works fine when I have used it. I just handhold...

Re: Show Me Your Camera Strap.
I use the detachable domke gripper. Love that I can have it on or off easily as a lot of the time I like having no strap.

Re: Looking for a monopod?
Induro/Benro is another great brand for monopods. Absolutely love mine after coming from a 681B which was also fantastic.

Re: Who has the most bags?
I have owned quite a few and used even more. I tend to sell them as I buy them though (at least in some cases).
Current lineup:

-TT DH20
-TT Retrospective 10

Re: Think Tank Retrospective 10 Pinestone
This bag is scary close in size to the 6MDH.
I really like it, very well made. The only issue is that it can be hard to pack gear in, it is hard to figure out how the layout the main...

2filter is a great alternative to maxsaver. You might also try contacting maxsaver and see if they have any coming in.

Never had one fail, but I do much prefer CF cards...especially for DSLRs.
So much nicer to work with IMO.

Re: New Strap.
Domke gripper straps are awesome. I have one with quick disconnects and it works great.
I like how low profile and small it is since I really dont like straps that much.

Nope. Though I have collected quite a few Sandisk cards from people on the forums as they come up for sale more often.
Sandisk, lexar, kingston are all good and there are others as well.

Re: 420ex for the XTI?
Maybe.
In all honesty the 420ex is plenty of flash for a lot of people. I use one and have never wanted anything more for what I do.

Re: 420ex for the XTI?
Snap it on and your good to go. Works fine with the XTI.
You will have to use the FEC on the camera though as the 420 does not have controls on the flash itself (not really that big of a deal for...

Re: small compact camera bag
Crumpler 3MDH or Think Tank Digital Holster 10 would be perfect:

The Digital Holsters are awesome. I rock a 20 and love it.
