Leaves dropped early this year.

Normally the Bigleaf Maples hang onto the leaves and color well into November.

Not merely the season, but the snow. The first was not just winter. Winter can have moss, colors, etc.. Snow seems it's own challenge.

I think composition was what stood out to me in what was posted...
