Thanks Timbop, this is precisely I want to get feedback before jumping in. I was wondering if there was some types or brands that work better with the Mark III since this is new to me.

Re: -=5D3 owners Unite! Discuss and post Photos! (2)

After many months of contemplating of getting the 6D over the 5D Mark 3, I pulled the trigger and got the 5D Mark III to complement my 7D. I had the 5D classic for about 5 years. It was my work horse...

Re: 7D all pictures are coming out with grain

I was extremely disappointed when I first got the 7D. It was grainy even at ISO 200, when it did focus at 5.6, the images were still soft. I blamed myself for user error and lost my confidence until...

Re: Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8

Re: Need Comments on 24-105mm IS L Lens

Re: What is your most under rated lens?

I love my Tammy 70-200 2.8 in daylight. It hunts in low light situations but rocks in the daylight. I know it's limitations.

Re: did you ever switch to FF only to go back to crop format?

As it was said before, each has it's purpose. I have the 5Dc and 7D. I use the 7D for reach and the 5Dc for formals and portraits. I am however digging the 7D more and more due to its forcusing but...

Re: 24-70mm f2.8 L v 24-105mm f4 L IS

I have both the brick and 24-105. I had the 24-70 first and was in love with it until I got the 24-105. It stays on by 5D 98% of the time. I am thinking about getting rid of the brick.
