Re: full frame vs DSLR camera

Re: DSLR Bubble
I have had several DSLRs, and recently bought a canon sx130IS. The image quality of the 130is isn't worse than I was expecting. What makes it frustrating to use is the slow focus speeds and...

don't give him lessons, just point him in the right direction, and answer questions. maybe go out on a photowalk or two with him? Don't make this into something more than it is. Most people have...

Re: Night Photography problem
it seems like a quirk of the lens. these are diffraction spots, created by internal lens reflections. Not much you can do about it except stop down a bit.

Re: Lense for Canon 350d
While the original 18-55 (non IS) isn't the most amazing lens, it's serviceable to start with. IS is less important with shorter focal lengths. Start shooting around with it for a while, and when...

Re: 7d or 1diin with lens
the 7d is physically smaller, and about 1/3 the weight. The 1d2 (I have a non-n version, I love it) also use ancient nicd batteries, while the 7d has similar weather proofing and autofocus...

Re: 7D + 24-70m worth it?
I would take the 24-70 only if weather sealing is important to you. When used together the 24-70 and 7d are weather resistant. If that isn't important, the 17-50 probably have a more useful range...

Re: Differences in design xxD vs: xxxD

xxd = 1.6x prosumer (medium sized cameras)
1d = 1.3x pro, weathersealed, advanced autofocus autofocus (big cameras)
1ds...
