Re: Contract Language from a client

interesting that almost exactly the same terms (word for word) can be found on others published on the internet. Either their terms have been copied by others, or more likely, they have cobbled...

Re: Is my new 70D bad or is this normal?

you're not really looking to make the test shots sharp, you're looking to find wether the cameras' recorded plane of focus is positionally accurate, in relation to the test target.

It's a whole heap...

Re: 70-200 Tripod collar stuck / Loose joint on barrel

if the main issue is "the joint of the barrel was loose between the zoom ring and the tripod collar" the no amount of messing around with the tripod collar is going to sort it, best get Canon to have...

Re: Is my new 70D bad or is this normal?

doing focus testing at anything other than wide open would make it harder to see the issue.

Looking at the shots with the focus objects on them makes me think there's something that needs Canon's...

Re: Is my new 70D bad or is this normal?

The 19...

Re: Looking for 665nm IR filter replacement to convert my Rebel XS to IR camera. Help

the 10D I converted just had been left powered off for quite some time - I guess you could always look for the flash capacitor (or anything else of reasonable size) and just use a resistor across...

Re: My new computer is slow on the internet, why?

from those speeds, there's not a whole heap of difference between wired & Wifi attached. Generally so long as the Internet connection is less than 20Mb/s or so you'll find a Wifi connection perfectly...

Re: Looking for 665nm IR filter replacement to convert my Rebel XS to IR camera. Help

my first IR converted camera I converted used a standard 55mm Hoya R72 filter for, quickly found it was difficult to cut cleanly so I got a glazier to cut another one - both were pretty shoddy.
The...

Re: My new computer is slow on the internet, why?
