Thanks to another post on how to attach the Canon E1 hand strap, I came up with a virtually free home-made strap and wanted to share it with other users.
The strap used came with the Canon EF 1.4x teleconverter. It was meant to be a strap for the hard case. Since I've no use for the hard case, I converted the strap to be a hand strap.
The strap came with 2 B-clips. Both are used in making the hand strap.
Next project is to add a pad made from Dry-Flow mesh & closed cell foam. But so far, I haven't seen a need for it yet.
BTW, pictures were taken with my venerable Powershot G1 @ ISO200. In contrast to the 20D pictures, the noise level is quit high. We've sure came a long way in digital photography.
