I bought a wireless remote from Ebay (China) and it works great! It will trip my camera from over a hundred feet away, I've tried it to 60 feet or so and it's perfect. It cost $47.99 w/shipping!

I will supply a link to any that ask but you can find these on Ebay. The brand name is Link Delight! They also sell the wired kind for much cheaper called the Adidt remote which has been reviewed on here before.

Just wanted to give a use report! I love the remote and use it frequently for humming birds. I set the camera on a tripod outside aimed at the feeder and sit inside with the air conditioning (It was 91 degrees here today) and watch for the birds. I can even watch TV and when the birds come, I catch the movement out of the corner of my eye and press the remote! It works every time! Now, if I can get them to be on the side of the feeder where I'm aiming. hmmmmmmm

I always remove the batteries when I'm not using it to save them. Just thought I would add that as they seem to drain even when not using them.

Of course, buying anything on Ebay is always a risk so be careful and pick merchants with lots of activity and a high rating!
