5 and 6 are a bit tii dead centered for me with a bit too much headroom, but don't get me wrong -I'd be really happy with these. Shadows on 5, 6 and 7 are a little harsh (though in 7, it kind of works well). Love the colours and processing. Overall they are crisp, clean and natural. Nice!

Here's my take.

1. I think shoe shots are best when there's the whole pair. That said it's a nicely exposed and crisp shot. I like the processing. The framing really isn't all that interesting and it's a too centered IMO.

2. Missing a little pop to this. The image looks dull. The purple looks different than #1. The stone on the top ring could have been turned a little more towards the camera. I like that it looks nice and crisp though.

3. The framing looks a little odd with her face chopped off like that at that angle. There's some funky things happening with the MUA's hand. Particularly her middle finger.

4. Looks a little bright in some spots, but overall I think this is a nice shot. Would have been better if they all were wearing sunglasses.

5. I don't really mind the centering. Is that her lipstick on his chin? If not, I'd correct that. Also, the corners are a little too dark for my taste.

6. Yeah, he looks upset and that kills the photo IMO. She also looks like she's grabbing his boobs. The horizon is going through their heads too.

7. Probably better if you shot this more from your left.

8. Good pic.

I could do without #3, but I love the first two. Maybe brighten them up? They look like they were little darkened during PP. I love #4--especially that little kid! #6 would be nice if the husband didn't look so pissed off lol. #7 is nice, but I wish I could see more of their faces/expressions. Nice series!

I love the exposures in 1 and 2. May I ask what you normally shoot?

Thanks for your feedback and kind words.
I don't usually keep things centered but that wall of bougainvilleas was an exception.

Thanks for your critique on this set of images, I appreciate it.
<1 & 2> I didn't realize the different colors of the shoes so I was able to correct it thanks to you. I have the 'pair of shoes' image covered elsewhere.
<3> Nobody seems to like this shot but me and that's fine.
<4> Never saw it at the time but did during processing so I made sure all the groomsmen were sporting their shades for yesterday's wedding.
<5> I couldn't see anything on his chin but overall his skin tone is very red even prior to alcohol consumption so I did reduce the reds but can still see that he has a rosy red cheek.
<6> I have another version of this fixing his face, just requires some masking. Hopefully they'll be oblivious to the horizon & groping of the man bewbs.
<7> I have several others to choose showing more of the mother/son faces but felt this one was more intimate.

Thanks again for the CC.

Thanks for the feedback, see explanations above. That kid was such a class act the entire day.

Thanks, they look much better now that the colors are more uniform. Maybe I should update this thread with em.
I'll shoot anything really but enjoy covering sports & automotive events.
