Default Issue with Elements 9

Hi All,

My work flow is usually this....

1.Open RAW picture
2 ACR Raw converter opens and I edit RAW file
3.Then open image in Elements 9
4.Duplicate layer (or new layer)
5.Edit photo
6.Flatten Layers
7.Go to "File/Save As"
8.Automatically converts to JPEG
9.Save as Max file size (12)

TODAY though...

Do the same up to step 7
and when it has usually automatically saves to JPEG, it is now defaulting to save as a .CR2 file, EVEN THOUGH "Format says JPEG" (see photo)

Why's this happening now? I have tried restarting Elements/Google etc, but am a bit miffed, as I don't want to have to go back into DPP or Elements later and batch process the files again.... Hope this makes sense.....

thanks

Mav

It's saving it as a jpeg, but the filename has the ".CR2", so the final filename will be "xxxx.CR2.jpeg". You can just type your own filename in there if you want to be descripive, or delete the .CR2 part.
