Published: Spin Magazine (digital) - Black Taxi at Bowery Ballroom

This was a set I wasn't even going to post since no one has probably heard of them. No photo pit, got there late waiting for my writer, so I had to shoot from the balcony at this sold out show until their rep put me on stage for the last half of the show. Side stage only with 4 band members and a 5 piece horn section. The Bowery stage is small.

Terrible lighting to work with. Set turned out fine, but nothing that really wowed me.

So this morning I get an email from Spin that they want to publish one in the March Digital Edition/iPad app. First time being published in Spin.

Can you guess which photo they chose?

Well, John nailed it. And I am surprised. There are honestly 10 really good shots from this set I would have picked before the one they chose but who am I to judge....

Every text box on the iPad app is in the same spot. You can press the button and "hide" it.
