Default what are you using to get these shots

ok I love the fruit shots and esp the drop shots but how are you getting them

I am planning on using a bowl - but how

I have a clear bowl - but it's not that big - how do you get a black background - do you use a sheet

so many questions!!

any tips for a beginner on this LOL

I am struggling to figure out what you mean by "fruit shots" and "drop shots". If by the latter you mean water droplets, see:

Link to examples of what you mean. You will need a flash with a short duration to freeze motion.

the ones where you are dropping the fruit in the water - and the drop as in drops of milk or other liquids - I know you use high speed that part I understand - but you guys seem to be so close to the bowl - or the bowl is perfectly clear
