liked it, add a counterweight or a glidecam (or equivalent) to the mix and your moving footage will be much cleaner

Diy the glide cam first...id grab the opteka xgrip as well, I film skating with it and it is great...less than 30 bucks on amazon

Fun idea. A little odd that better gear makes him a better skier all of a sudden, but fun.

I'll agree with the shaky shots that Sean stated. You'll get better with that over time and with the addition of some better gear. Hold it, what?

But the one thing gear won't fix is the exposure. A lot of it was spot on, other parts were dark and muddy looking. Snow can mess with a cameras meters and fake you into underexposing it. Also the sun going in and out of the clouds is kind of hard to deal with. Nothing you can do about that really. I guess just keep shooting.

And then when you did shoot with the sun at your back you got your own shadow which was distracting. A problem with wide angle lenses. Maybe a lower camera angle would have helped in some situations.

Over all, fun idea! Keep shooting and hopefully you guys get more snow. It looked pretty sparse.
