Default GraphiStudio WPPI Promotion

My wife and I went to WPPI 2012 and signed up for the GraphiStudio promotion for $1K worth of album sample cost.

They gave us a call today, and after verifying information, they mentioned I should be receiving an e-mail on instructions to upload photos for the sample albums.

I asked what is the catch, they said their is no commitment to buy an album, rather they ask us to present the free samples to clients and hoping to get the next album from them.

I have never used GraphiStudio before, does anybody has a clue on this free sample package, what I will be receiving, and the quality of the albums?

Graphi Studio runs those promotions with EVERY show; or so it seems. I've not yet bitten. Nice albums, but not quite as nice as what I currently offer and I've not yet been motivated to make the change.

If Graphi Studio is your second choice, what do you offer currently?

Zookbinders. It's not night and day, but I think ZB is a bit nicer at pricing that is very comparable. I've been with them for a while, have my investment in samples of their albums, etc. GS is nice, maybe I'd select them if I were just starting out, but ZB fits my brand a bit better and neither company has ever given me reason to want to switch.

That's weird... I DIDN'T sign up for this, but they called me the other day saying I did. *shrug* May as well get the free sample. If you don't like it, no pressure! I actually bought the PictoBooks special during the show (for my own wedding album... shhh, don't tell!) and I can't wait to get it.

AHAHAH

Picto is really stepping it up. I think they are the best bang for your buck on the market. The quality is excellent and the choices the brides get make it a must have company for us....I also got the show special

Graphic studio, like every vendor in there, got an e-mail list with everyone's email that attended. Be prepared for 1 yrs of email bombardment

I was really blown away by PictoBooks at WPPI this year. I almost breezed right past them because I thought they were a different company but my hubby stopped me and pointed at their Bijou album sample. I drooled, I'm not going to lie. We were on a mission to find a new album company so we'd been comparing bindings and paper and cover qualities all day and they were pretty much the last album booth we came to, they made me forget everyone else. I highly recommend everyone check then out if you get a chance. And who doesn't love a $16,000 diamond encrusted gold album? I'm really tempted to throw a $25,000 package on my site just so I can offer that album!

And thus far I'm liking the email bombardment. Sooo many nice cheap discounts on samples! But I also got smart from last year and gave them an email address created solely for WPPI email bombardments!

I am always open to other companies. Pictobooks might be worth looking into. $199 for a small sample album is kind pricey when you haven't seen the product.
1 60 page 12X12
1 8X8 parent book
4 4X4 parent book s
1 calendar
Pretty sweet deal from Graphi. Sending the couple a free calendar is a nice gesture too.

The only thing with Pikto is it has soft pages. I would personally not prefer soft pages doe to the risk of my kids ripping it apart and that I believe a lot of clients think of that. It is a investment and it should stay in the family for generations, will a soft page last as long as a hard page? My guess is, not.

Pikto and PictoBooks are not the same company. PictoBooks is an American based company that sells high quality flushmount albums. Pikto is a Canadian based company that sells press print products.
