Default Powershot DC adapter description (plus/minus pole)

Hi,

I don't want to buy the original ac adapter for 50Euro! Therefor I'm designing one with an regulator (LM317). But I need one thing: Where is the plus and where is the minus pole on the plug of the adapter ( which is connected as a power supply to the camera)?
Could somebody measure this for me?

Or is there any documentation for this?

thanks a lot -bye
