Show us your Macro Rig

Hey guys I havent seen a "macro rig" photo and accesories section. I just wanted to see what others rigs look like, bracket and all. Before I began, I searched to see what others are using. Ive seen LordV's. It really helped me make mine. Maybe it can help others come up with their own. Ill post mine when I get home.

Well I'm no macro expert but here's a picture of my ef100-300 with tubes on. The picture quality isn't that crash hot mainly cause i was using my old camera to take the picture.

Thats a nice one. That thing looks loooonnnnngggg.
Here's mine with my homemade bracket. Looks ugly but it works.

Rebel XT/350D w/battery grip.
Tamron 90mm macro lens w/Tamron 2X TC (optional). Tamron hood not shown and normally not used.
Kenko tubes (not shown).
Canon 420 EX flash (off-camera cord not shown) mounted on a Delta flexible arm bracket.
Remote button rests on a piece of velcro attached to the grip when not in use.
Mini tripod is just for this shot. Usually use a Manfrotto tripod or monopod if anything.

Wow! I LOVE this flash mount and bendy arm, is it bought or home made can i ask? Would love to get something like this.

Here's my latest 'supermacro rig' - EOS 350D with Speedlite 430EX on a Manfrotto 330 bracket. Yes - there really are 2 sets (130mm) of tubes on that EF-S 60 macro. It gives 4.1:1 magnification. I need the big torch to focus ....... no, what I mean is I need it to see what I am shooting! See this thread for shots http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=142902

I hadn't thought of using the tripod collar for mounting a flash bracket until I saw this thread in Pbase http://www.pbase.com/miljenko/sigma150flash
Normally I mount the bracket under the camera of course but this is better as I can get around the lens and closer to the subject more easily and balance is fine:

test shot - I think it says something about the trade imbalance twixt USA & China!
