Default powershot S10 to the trash?

I have an S10 which has the power PCB board burned. I changed the fuse but still doesn't work. The Canon service here in Greece asks for 200 euro to change the power board (and still, the camera may have further problems). With this money I could buy a new one...
Now, I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to throw it away...

Maybe there is another one here that has an S10 (or maybe S20) with a different problem and would like to buy mine or me buy his, as spare parts. :-/
