Default Kingfisher and yellow legs

Went to a close by marsh last night, just setting up, seen a shadow and looked up to see a bald eagle fly over me at about 40 feet, a little while later, noticed the yellowlegs scatter and looked around to see a merlin just miss taking one out of the air., Oh well, enough sobbing over missed pics, here is what I managed to get.
#1 Yellowleg

#2 two for one deal

#3 kingfisher

#4 kingfisher at work

Thanks for looking.

An excellent series Trevor. The Kingfisher is an outstanding shot. The composition is good with nice colour and detail. Disappointing of course to miss the Merlin however you still had cracking good shots of the Yellow legs, well done.

I'm real jealous of your kingfisher shots!

They elude me all the time

Nicely done!

Super series Trevor! the colours in these are really nice and the composition are excellent in all. The simplicity of the first shot really grabs my attention.

Kingfishers.....I have 1 shot......these birds drive me crazy. Now that I have that out of my system..................!

Very nice shots of this elusive bird, The first two shots of the Yellow legs are excellent....wonderful light , detail, colors, angle, commposition...everything works in these shots.
