Default Getting into EE via the 1.5 beta

I'd like to get some of my friends to check out EE, and also thought about making a post or two in relevant forums that I'm active in.

However, from personal experience, it was rather daunting jumping in at the EE beta point, since doing so required five downloads and separate installs.

Would it be possible, in the near future, to combine some of these installs into one package, to simplify the 'getting started' for new people?

Or would you prefer, overall, to have these new folks start off with a final and not beta product?

And an addendum: Could you please timestamp future files on the beta page, so we can better keep track of what we've seen when? Thanks!
