In hopes that I can continue learning from those who are far beyond my level of expertise, who might be willing to throw a bone to a newbie ( 1 year with a Canon G3 and 3 add-on lenses) heres a link to some of my photos taken over the last 6-8 months. I'm having a great time and learning as I go, so take a moment and have a look.

Why the grid in 103_0314.jpg? Looks like a star filter you inadvertantly blew up too much.

Its no filter, its an "effect" in the editing program I used, PhotoImpression 4, and I just tried this grid thing over the shot of the Mallard, and liked the way it looked. I guess it represents something thats developing in my work, looking for a certain style on some shots, ect. Sometimes, I have to avoid letting my shots display a "perspective" that appeals only to me, but wondering if maybe it will appeal somewhere to somebody who's like me. Anyway, I appreciate your comments, Bruce.
By the way, see anything that appealed to you ? |
