Point Loma was nice.... there is a light house at the end. I think that is the only public place that is easy to get to.
When I was there I had an outstanding local guide.

Well, for flora and fauna, you can't beat the good old San Diego zoo.

Torry Pines, Coronado, Funky Leucadia, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Cabrillo Monument, Wild Animal Park, Oceanside Pier, Sunset Cliffs, Balboa Park, Harbor and Shelter Islands, Old Town San Diego, the missions around San Diego, on and on. There is too much not to get a guide book on San Diego photo opportunities. And of course if you are even more adventurous there is the entire country of Mexico right across the border.

I had good times across the border in Mexico. But no pictures to prove anything that happened there (not that I want to be able to prove it...) I also didn't want to take my camera there.....
