What do you mean better on webpages. I think it's cool, but I would like to see them better.

I didn't like the idea of wall covering all the beautiful night scenary shot...Were you not able to take your tripod a litle towards the wall...I think the image would've been a much better capture if it included some amount of wall and more amount of the night city lights...ofcourse..IMHO..

My tripod wouldn't extend high enough to capture the scenery, but i found a better spot and will give it another attempt soon. As for webpages i can't seem to get the colors right when i upload them on the web. They always look desaturated and grainy. Also thanks for the comments i really appreciate them.

Mike,

What are you using for your webpage? Can you send me a link, so I can compare the two images? Sometimes it's not the webpage, but how you save it with the quality. What program are you using to save them for the web?

I don't mean my webpage sry for the confusion. What i was trying to say was i that whenever i upload pics to the web to photobucket etc. i loose color in the pictures. I'm using CS3 to save my files. What programs should i be using to convert pictures for the web?

Thanks
Mike

you dn't need the tripod. In these cases, I'd simply use the wall as my base and fire away.

CS3 is more than ample. I use aperture, but I have a Mac. I don't know why your pics are looking like they are lower quality. I would only recommend you save the resolution high after you PP them. Sorry, but I can't tell what your lookin at opposed to what it looked like on Photobucket. Just keep messing around with it and try different settings. You will always lose quality when you export pics, but you sound like your losing a lot.
