Default Best express card or PC card Compact Flash reader?

I have both Express card 54 and PC card slots in my laptop. I like the idea of having a reader in there all the time and having to tote around a separate card reader.

I recently tried the Delkin Cardbus reader. The drivers were NOT compatible with Vista and it made my laptop crash.

I also tried a Sandisk "PC card to CF adapter". It was HORRIBLY slow.

So now I'm still looking for options. Ideas?

The reason your PCMCIA adapter was slow was because the card slot is slow.
It would be a LOT faster with a USB2 external reader.
Heck, I even have a couple of the $5 ones from Frys Electronics that work just fine.
I keep one in my laptop bag, and one in my camera bag (for when I'm shooting at work and don't have my computer with me).

Right, but as stated above, I don't want to have to carry along another card reader, that's why an expresscard or pc card adapter would be so much more convenient.

Anybody?
