Default Storyboard with 9mo old

So I had a little studio shoot yesterday with my 9mo old son. Needed some pics to fill one of those "storyboard" frames. So I thought I would combine it into one image to get some feedback. Here it is:

Love the shots... I am not 100% I like the tone thought but this is personal preference.. I think I would have liked a chocolate and white tone. I agree with Tom on the upside down shot. It's a nice shot on it's own but it doesn't match this series I think.. Thanks for sharing. You did really good.

So you guys picked it out pretty fast... I was wanting to see if someone would say something about the upside down one. I didn't just rotate it, my wife was actually holding him upside down when I snapped this one. Wanted to see if people thought it looked too out of place, and apparently the answer is yes

My wife liked it included, but her comment was she thought there was too much black compared to the others in the set. I felt that if I cropped more of it out, it would look like I just flipped it over and it would lose some of it's cuteness.

That's a great storyboard. I love concepts like this.

However, I'd suggest putting the upside down one on the bottom row to help balance out the black space.

Then swap the top right and top centre shots around - there's something about the top of the baby's head being chop off by the edge of the box that doesn't quite sit with me.

It's a great set of images.

I like the suggestion of swapping top middle and top right... that will also make the two ring pics opposite each other. Not sure if the upside down one will be as cute if it's on the bottom... I'll have to think about that one.

I was thinking like it's like he's hanging from somewhere within the box, instead of from outside...

Your call though, the kid looks cute, whichever way you swing him...

Oh man, Aaron. What are you going to tell Kim? He swings both ways

Nice job man, although I don't dig the tone. I would go with a more true bw and make the border all black.

Yeah, well, the matting on the frame I already purchased is similar to that color. Plus I like this better than B&W anyway

The upsidedown is a little bothersome, but the one with the adult fingers and baby fingers is adorable <3 Nice placement and shots overall... that baby's a cutey!
