Default Sparrows, sparrows everywhere! What kind?

A flock of these guys descended on my feeder this morning... About 20 of them!!! I don't know what they are

Those aren't Sparrows, they're Pine Siskins. We have a lot of them this year.

I don't think they are sparrows. More like a goldfinch. But again, it's a Western bird, not familiar with them.

Definitely Pine Siskins. They haven't arrived here yet.

Yeah, they aren't sparrows. Definitely pine siskins. You can tell because they look like a female house finch with a little yellow on them. Now I'm jealous because I keep hoping for them in my yard!

This is the first time I've had them come swarming in! I was taken aback by the flock. The ony time I'd seen one previously was a long way away in a shadowy tree. I'm happy! Another one for the list. Now I just need to get a GOOD picture of one
