Default Macro tubes - tips ?

I got a set of 3 macro tubes (cheap ones from eBay). Now, I am looking for tips / tricks.

Just general stuff making life easier.

E.g. how do you get that wasp to pose for you a quarter of an inch away from the lens

Amamba,
Hope and Pray!
Its times like this where a true macro lens (that gives 6+ inches between glass and subject) really stands out.

Do you have an off shoe cord for your 430ex? as it will help you get more light to your very close subject and a faster shutter speed

Basically getting close to bugs is a lot of luck and a little skill - some hints here

Other points- assuming you are stopping the lens down before attaching it to the ext tubes- a led light can be very useful as a focus aid because of the dim viewfinder.

I can't really add much other than read the link posted by Brian as it is very helpful. What lens will you be adding the tubes to?
