Default Uploading Altered Images to S230

I'm getting errors when I try to upload an altered image (e.g. reducing red eye in a picture) from my PC to my camera. The uploaded image will sometimes transfer and if it does it is not viewable through ZoomBrowser.

To alter the image I'm using Arc Soft Photoimpression and saving the altered image as a JPEG.

Uploading unaltered images is not a problem though.

Any advice? Thanks
