Default selective color

I forgot how to make an image have certain parts in color and the rest black and white.
a girl i know wants her eyes in color and the rest in b&w, can someone give me an easy but nice looking way to get this done?

For a PS Nub-

1) Copy the image into a second layer, from the layers palate.

2) Desaturate that layer using whatever mono conversion process is your favorite, so it is monochrome. If done correctly, you should have a Background layer that is color and a top layer (called Background Copy) that is monochrome.

3) Using the ERASER tool, erase away the eyes from the mono layer revealing the color eyes on the layer below. (TO try to make an easy to understand metaphor - think of paint. Here you are scraping away the gray paint -the top layer- so as to show the colored paint hidden below.)

4) Flatten.

*Oh, by the way, there are currently 209,140 members on POTN. So that means there are 209,140 different ways of doing this. Each member thinks their way is the best. As other posts tell you "No, no no - don't do it that way, do it this way..." then you need to go with what makes sense to you.

Desaturate is about the worst way imaginable to go black and white. Just wrote about that on my blog.
