Oops, I think I meant "objectionable".

Thank you, thank you.
Well, if you're limited to these options alone, I'd go with the 5D, and leave the converter at home. You might be able to get some decent shots, but that's a pretty tight lens to cover a whole event with.

so i am guessing i open the aperture to f2.8 then pick a highish ISO to give a fairly fast shutter speed. is that the right way round or is it better to pick the shutter speed? |

Very nice shots. Captures the event well.

Yeah, you're gonna have to crank up the iso. Depending on the lighting you might get away with 1600, or you might have to go as high as 12,800. Every venue is different, so you're going to have to make a judgment call when you get there. Get there early, and have the lighting guys turn on the ring lights for a test run, and take care of your CWB then as well.

Excellent stuff and hard to pick a favourite. Don't know what is objectional, it is a sport and these are the type of images expected.

Thank you.
I just figured I'd give a heads up as I'm guessing some people don't want to see blood flying or brutal KO's. Most of my kickboxing pics make the sport look "softer".
