Just got a t2i today, thought I'd try the MW. Little too much light pollution.
Could one of you guys who knows the night sky, point me to a few galaxies or areas of interest in this shot? It would be greatly appreciated. I don't like the way this one turned out, I'm hoping to improve with this camera. |

Get Stellarium, it's a free program that tells you where all the nebulae and galaxies are in the sky in real time...

Stellarium is a great program I was able to get a couple of faint clusters with my T2i now if I could just get a decent shot of Jupiter without have to mount the camera on my telescope!
