Where is the best place around Los Angeles to take pictures of Birds?

Malibu Lagoon has alot of birds that you would expect at a lagoon, Franklin Canyon has a few interesting species. to be honest just going on a hike in the Santa Monica mountain range is the best way to find birds

Spring is ideal for the mountains, but the lagoon will always have birds. Franklin Canyon will also always have wildlife

Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach the wetlands there are really happening this time of year at sunrise its off pch you will see the walk bridge and most likly you will see alot of photographers there with there big lens that will guide you down the trails.. its always best right at sunrise...

San Juaquin Wildlife Reserve near Irvine can be awesome. Especially during mating season.
