Default First try at horse racing

I just got my 100-400L this morning and it was off to the track. When I got there they told me photography was not allowed but they let me take some shots in the first race because they felt sorry for me! This lens is great. I can't wait to do more.

LMK what you think please.

did they give you a reason for not allowing photography

surely if you are shooting from a public access area then its not a problem

Nice angle off the bend... a tight crop on the four horses to the left might be the way to go...

Hope you get to shoot some more horses soon!

Nice shot!
It would probably look nicer if you straightened it so the fence in the background looks level.
